Jeff has been serving the reverse mortgage industry since 2002, a time when it was a relatively obscure concept. Since then, the industry has evolved to where reverse mortgages are widely understood and often used by thousands of homeowners who are 62 and older. Jeff has been called one of the countries foremost expert's on reverse mortgages and frequently presents the benefits to large audiences. I specialize in helping older folks preserve wealth and find a more comfortable retirement by tapping into their home equity and eliminating monthly mortgage payments. I have seen the reverse mortgage landscape change immensely over my 10 years of working with seniors.  I find that my deep roots in this industry really elevates my understanding of my clients’ needs and how to best utilize the many diverse programs available as tools to unlock a retirement they didn’t think was possible.  My goal is to share information about these programs so that retirees and retiree hopefuls can get all the information they need from a trusted source in order to make the best decision for their unique lifestyle. Reverse mortgages are often the last loan people get in their lifetime and that is not to be taken lightly. I find it a great honor to be chosen to guide people to a more secure future through reverse mortgages and I take care of my clients as if they were my own family.

I have worked for more than 25 years in International Economic Development including the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, and the European Investment Bank. Upon reentry into the USA, I wanted to pursue my desire of assisting Americans with their retirement objectives and explore all options. As I began researching the various tools available, I became a very strong advocate of Reverse Mortgages and fully believe in what they can provide in reaching retirement goals. I enjoy finding solutions that meet the customer’s needs, and unlocking the door to their home equity.

My wife and I, with our daughters, live in Boise, Idaho. We enjoy the various outdoor activities available but also love to spend time together indoors; winter puzzles are a seasonal favorite of ours. The Treasure Valley is a wonderful place to live. Idaho has so much to offer! I have a strong interest in Ukraine and former Soviet Union countries; I always enjoy conversations with anyone who has an interest.

I look forward to working with you, developing a strategy to enhance your retirement goals, and providing you with confidence and peace of mind.

I have over 14 years of experience in the mortgage industry and am a firm believer in the many ways reverse mortgages can benefit seniors in the Great Northwest. From eliminating monthly mortgage payments, providing another source of retirement income or cash for medical needs or home improvements, to utilizing a reverse line of credit as a buffer asset to protect other investments during an economic downturn, reverse mortgages can be used in a multitude of positive ways for today’s seniors. I place a high value on educating my clients and walking them through the process of deciding if a reverse mortgage is right for them and their family.

I grew up on Spokane, Washington, graduated from Washington State University, and now live in Sammamish, Washington with my family. I enjoy mountain biking, waterskiing, and boating, and am proud of my successful summit of Mt. Rainier in 2010.
