Jeff has been serving the reverse mortgage industry since 2002, a time when it was a relatively obscure concept. I have worked for more than 25 years in International Economic Development including the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, and the European Investment Bank. Upon reentry into the USA, I wanted to pursue my desire of assisting Americans with their retirement objectives and explore all options. As I began researching the various tools available, I became a very strong advocate of Reverse Mortgages and fully believe in what they can provide in reaching retirement goals. I enjoy finding solutions that meet the customer’s needs, and unlocking the door to their home equity.

My wife and I, with our daughters, live in Boise, Idaho. We enjoy the various outdoor activities available but also love to spend time together indoors; winter puzzles are a seasonal favorite of ours. The Treasure Valley is a wonderful place to live. Idaho has so much to offer! I have a strong interest in Ukraine and former Soviet Union countries; I always enjoy conversations with anyone who has an interest.

At the conclusion of a reverse mortgage, the borrower must repay the loan and may have to sell the home or repay the loan from other proceeds; charges will be assessed with the loan, including an origination fee, closing costs, mortgage insurance premiums and servicing fees; the loan balance grows over time and interest is charged on the outstanding balance; the borrower remains responsible for property taxes, hazard insurance and home maintenance, and failure to pay these amounts may result in the loss of the home; interest on a reverse mortgage is not tax deductible until the borrower makes partial or full re-payment.
